The apartment is on the ground floor, off the courtyard, with no stairs or lift to negotiate. The decoration combines the mouldings and proportions of a Haussmann building with modern comfort. It suits a couple or a solo traveller who wants to see Paris on foot.

The neighbourhood

Rue Gît-le-Cœur is in the sixth arrondissement, on the edge of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and a street back from the river. The Latin Quarter, the Seine and a dense concentration of the cafes and bookshops Paris is known for are all immediately around you.

Getting around

Saint-Michel (line 4) is about five minutes on foot, with RER B and C at Saint-Michel - Notre-Dame for the airports. Buses and bike share are available nearby, but the location is really made for walking.

Nearest car park: Parking Indigo Saint-Germain-des-Prés — 171 Bd Saint-Germain, 75006, about 8-10 min on foot. Public garages nearby charge around 32–48 € per 24 hours. There is no private parking at the building, and street parking in central Paris is limited and charged.
